Sit back and relax with Resumable File Upload

Never worry about losing your internet connection during large file uploads again!
Enjoy a new upload experience with Resumable File Upload, available for Chrome and Firefox users. No plugins or installation of anything required!

Resumable Upload means that if your internet connection breaks, Minus will wait until your connection returns and recover the upload where it left off . Whether you need to upload two megabytes or two gigabytes to Minus: just drag, drop, and relax.

Let us know what you think and please continue to share Minus.

Here are some details regarding the implementation of this feature: We were inspired by the js implementation from Dmitry. It turned out, however, that the flow control he implemented was not adaptive enough to simultaneously accommodate both low-latency/low bandwidth and high-latency/high-bandwidth connection. For resumeable uploads to work efficiently for both cases, we implemented TCP/IP-style congestion control, but over http POST requests instead of UDP packet sends.
