Move, Copy and Delete Files
You can now move, copy and delete files! Move and copy a single file or multiple files into existing folders or create a new folder on the spot using the Manage Files menu.
Give it a try and let us know what you think!
- Use the Manage Files menu to select the files, then click on the action to perform on the files. Hold down Shift or Command key to select multiple files.

- Move or copy files into a new folder or select an existing one.

We’ll do our best to see proper implementation. For now you can always create new ones, and tag them appropriately.

Is there a “select all files” feature in gallery view?
Selecting many files one-by-one is not so convenient.

If you’re on windows, use shift key on your keyboard (Select 2 files, using shift key, and every file that is in between of them will be selected as well).

Ok, thanks. I’ve forgot about that
But I was thinking about an additional checkbox above the list of files, such as implemented in Google Docs or Gmail: http://i.minus.com/ibsedJnIXvidrM.png
Also, the drag icon should be centered with the checkbox and file’s name.
There could be option to move the rename icon to the right of the file’s name.
The other possibility is to move the rename icon to the right and put the move icon between the checkbox and the file’s name.

You can select multiple files in the file menu in top right.
Simply check one file in File Menu, then Shift or Command (On Mac) checkbox the last file and it will select all files in the folder.
Hope that helps!

This feature is not working for me. Tried in Windows 7 – Internet Explorer 9 and also Google Chrome. When I click in “Copy…” or “Move…” the dialog appears below the grey screen and clicking in any place (including the area of the dialog itself) makes this dissappear withou doing anything. ¿It’s only me?

Please try again. We should have just fixed the bug.
You need to Refresh entire page, maybe try clearing BRowser Cache.
If still doesn’t work please let me know your browser version/info.
Cheers

Please check Minus, today I am getting very bad upload speeds and packet loss. I don’t know if it’s my ISP fault or yours. Thanks!

s.th went wrong today: now if you come to my public yourpage.minus.com you are getting directed to http://yourpage.minus.com/#!/all/1.0; kind of a picture timeline/overview
instead of my separated folders you are looking into one big picture stream including the former folder attributes. The folder structure is only visible if I am logged into my account.
please fix this and give me some feedback on this.
thank you.

Hi,
1) The profile URL yourpage.minus.com should work
2) We changed display of profile from “Folder based” to “File based” – we will change it back and enable toggle to change the views soon
3) Home -> My Folders for your management is still folder based.
Sorry for the trouble.

and the magic happens. thx for fixing the problem so quickly. great customer service.
is there any possibility to disable the function “Download all as Zip”? I think the functionality could be inconvenient for some people with original content.
again, thx for such great customer support.

No problem
As for the Download all as Zip function, most users want that when sharing their photos, family or not etc.c. with others, to make it more convenient.
WE’ll definitely look into the disable options etc.. soon

There’s a rename button right next to each file. For me it would make sense that the delete button was next to the rename button.

You can’t if you deleted it unfortunately.
There should be a confirmation for when you delete folders as a warning already.

I deleted a folder, but pics from the deleted folder still show up on the website I uploaded it to?
Is there any way to completely delete it so it can’t be accessed anymore?

You can upload one or multiple files at a time using the website via http://minus.com by selecting multiple files or just dragging them into the browser (With latest Firefox/Chrome/Safari)
Hope that makes sense
