We’ll do our best to see proper implementation. For now you can always create new ones, and tag them appropriately.
Is there a “select all files” feature in gallery view?
Selecting many files one-by-one is not so convenient.

If you’re on windows, use shift key on your keyboard (Select 2 files, using shift key, and every file that is in between of them will be selected as well).

Ok, thanks. I’ve forgot about that
But I was thinking about an additional checkbox above the list of files, such as implemented in Google Docs or Gmail: http://i.minus.com/ibsedJnIXvidrM.png
Also, the drag icon should be centered with the checkbox and file’s name.
There could be option to move the rename icon to the right of the file’s name.
The other possibility is to move the rename icon to the right and put the move icon between the checkbox and the file’s name.

You can select multiple files in the file menu in top right.
Simply check one file in File Menu, then Shift or Command (On Mac) checkbox the last file and it will select all files in the folder.
Hope that helps!

Great!
Very Well
This feature is not working for me. Tried in Windows 7 – Internet Explorer 9 and also Google Chrome. When I click in “Copy…” or “Move…” the dialog appears below the grey screen and clicking in any place (including the area of the dialog itself) makes this dissappear withou doing anything. ¿It’s only me?

Please try again. We should have just fixed the bug.
You need to Refresh entire page, maybe try clearing BRowser Cache.
If still doesn’t work please let me know your browser version/info.
Cheers
Please check Minus, today I am getting very bad upload speeds and packet loss. I don’t know if it’s my ISP fault or yours. Thanks!

Glad to hear!
s.th went wrong today: now if you come to my public yourpage.minus.com you are getting directed to http://yourpage.minus.com/#!/all/1.0; kind of a picture timeline/overview
instead of my separated folders you are looking into one big picture stream including the former folder attributes. The folder structure is only visible if I am logged into my account.
please fix this and give me some feedback on this.
thank you.

Hi,
1) The profile URL yourpage.minus.com should work
2) We changed display of profile from “Folder based” to “File based” – we will change it back and enable toggle to change the views soon
3) Home -> My Folders for your management is still folder based.
Sorry for the trouble.
and the magic happens. thx for fixing the problem so quickly. great customer service.
is there any possibility to disable the function “Download all as Zip”? I think the functionality could be inconvenient for some people with original content.
again, thx for such great customer support.

No problem
As for the Download all as Zip function, most users want that when sharing their photos, family or not etc.c. with others, to make it more convenient.
WE’ll definitely look into the disable options etc.. soon
Cheers
Yeah… Very… Intuitive… I spent 10 minutes looking for the stupid delete button.

Sorry to hear that. There is the Delete folder link at bottom right. For delete individual files, if you have suggestions on how to make it more clear please do let us know.

There’s a rename button right next to each file. For me it would make sense that the delete button was next to the rename button.

How to restore deleted files and folders?!
John Xie
March 12th, 2012 at 2:40 pm
You can’t if you deleted it unfortunately.
There should be a confirmation for when you delete folders as a warning already.

Contact info@minus.com we will look into it.
I deleted a folder, but pics from the deleted folder still show up on the website I uploaded it to?
Is there any way to completely delete it so it can’t be accessed anymore?

John Xie

You can upload one or multiple files at a time using the website via http://minus.com by selecting multiple files or just dragging them into the browser (With latest Firefox/Chrome/Safari)
Hope that makes sense

How do I download a file from Minus to my computer
Mustang
June 3rd, 2012 at 9:34 am
hie, You should be able to download all files within a folder in minus , from left hand side menu options.
This “Options” you can only view if you are viewing the current folder in grid view or list view. Select download as zip. Enjoy
Below info is for John
Note that the Options text itself is dimmed, usually a notation for buttons that are not clickable under the current settings. Also the place for download all files, should be near where one can select the box ie right hand side. Although its asking something extra, but download selected files would be lovely addition.
Hello John , It feels great to see your response and support.
Over the year i have seen tremendous changes with minus.
one feature i think i am missing is the download folder as zip , or download an entire folder to my pc.
I wish this feature to be back on minus. Or please help me locate where this option is as i cannot find it any more.
Thank you for the wonderful experiance

Thanks! The download as zip should still be there in top left or bottom right corner depending on the view mode you are in. However this feature is disabled for larger galleries/folders if it’s over 1 GB. We may increase things in the future thought.
Hope you like the new profile / explore look as well.
Cheers!
Hi I wonder is someone could help me on this. I still have lot more GB free however I cant even upload a movie. What will I do? thanks.

Can you email info@minus.com the error/problem you are experiencing so we can help? Everything should be operating normally.
It never remembers the “view” I select, want to view in grid, once I click around and go back to my uploads I am back to the default view. Everything is all over the place, with no logic. Sorry, but very frustrating.
Can you create sub-folders or not?
Is there a file size limit for uploads?
Can you upload other files, besides pictures and video?
Thanks

Hi,
- There is no subfolders option
- The upload limit is 200 mb per file
- Yes any filetypes are ok right now
- As for saving the view, it’s not doable right now, but you can try click on “Options” to set default view for the folder/gallery.
Thanks
